Dr. Ping Huai received his Ph.D. degree from the Graduated University for Advanced Studies (Japan) in 2000. He joined Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics as a full professor in 2007, and served as the director of nuclear material division (2014-2017) before he joined ShanghaiTech Univ. in 2017. He is now in charge of Auxiliary Instrumentation & Support Division of Shanghai Coherent Light Source. Dr. Huai's main research interest lies in the field of condensed matter and materials physics, and has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers since 1998.
